Staff from Kingdom Homes Limited, Fife's longest-established care home group, will be putting their best feet forward later this month when they take part in the annual Great Scottish Walk in Edinburgh.

Staff from Barrogil House in Cluny, Methven House in Kirkcaldy, Fernlea House in Cardenden and Alexander House in Crossgates will be walking to raise money for Alzheimer Scotland on Sunday, June 22.

"We are hoping to raise hundreds of pounds through sponsorship for a charity which is very close to all our hearts," said Susan Connell, care manager at Methven House in Bennochy Road, Kirkcaldy, "and anyone who would like to make a donation can contact us via Methven House (telephone 01592 260420)."

Joining Susan on the walk will be Kitty Sutherland from West Wemyss, Geraldine Kerr, Avril Gardiner, Lindsay Ramage and Helen Paterson, all from Cardenden, Sharon Adams from Kirkcaldy, Shona McLeod from Auchtertool and Colin Braid from Thornton.
